Mr. Lemass asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if it is the intention of the Executive Council to introduce proposals for legislation to amend the Workmen's Compensation Acts, and, if so, when.

Mr. McGilligan: I hope that the Bill amending the Workmen's Compensation Acts will become law during the next Session.

Mr. McGilligan: I would not state it constitutionally but for the purpose of this question it is the Session that begins after Christmas.
