Dáil Éireann - Volume 34 - 14 May, 1930 Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Representations of Civil Servants. Mr. T. O'Connell (for Mr. Anthony) Mr. T. O'Connell (for Mr. Anthony) Mr. T. O'Connell (for Mr. Anthony) asked the Minister for Finance if any reply has yet been made by him to the representations which were made to him in June last on the subject of machinery for enabling civil servants to represent their views on service matters; and whether, having regard to his previous undertaking to make a statement at an early date, he can now state when he will be prepared to make one on the matter. Mr. Blythe Mr. Blythe 1714 Mr. Blythe: As indicated in previous replies to similar questions the [1714] consideration of the arrangements for representation in future of views of civil servants on service matters has involved a number of points of difficulty which have been receiving my attention. Some of these are points which require consideration by the Executive Council, and arrangements for their submission to the Council are in progress. As soon as a decision on these points is available, I shall be in a position to make a statement on the general question. Dáil Éireann 34 Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers.
