Dr. Ward asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that Mr. Edward Maguire, 4 Old Cross [1458] Square, Monaghan, has made many applications for repayment of his Dáil Loan subscription of £5; whether he will state the cause of the delay in giving authority to issue Savings Certificates in this case; and whether he is aware that applications for repayment were acknowledged by his Department in August and September, 1928.

Mr. Blythe: The particulars furnished by Mr. Maguire in connection with his application for repayment do not agree with those in the records in my Department. He has been asked to furnish his receipt and a statement from the collector showing his address at the time he is stated to have subscribed, but he has not yet done so.
