Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Refusal of Licence to Cork Creamery.

Tadhg O Murchadha asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the reason why the Cork and Kerry Creamery Company was refused a licence to erect a separating station at Ballinadee, Co. Cork.

Minister for Agriculture (Mr. Hogan): The decision to refuse a licence in the case referred to was arrived at after the fullest consideration of all the circumstances of the creamery industry in the district in question, and more particularly in relation to the Government's recognised policy of reorganising the creamery industry in the Saorstát on a co-operative basis. I regret that it is not possible to reconsider that decision.
