Written Answer. - Proposed Erection of Landing Stage.

Mr. Shaw asked the Minister for Finance if he will state when it is proposed to erect a suitable landing stage for the use of the islanders of Inchmore and Inisturk; and whether he will, in view of the urgent necessity of same, expedite the work.

Mr. Roddy: I have just received a report on this proposal. It appears to be very desirable, but it will cost £400 to carry out and will bring in no return to the navigation whatever. I am not clear whether we can carry it out or not, but I will give the matter my best attention.
