Mr. Shaw asked the Minister for Defence if it is his intention to utilise the Mullingar Military Barracks in connection with the training of the Army Reserve; and, if so, whether he can give an approximate date for its occupation.

Minister for Defence (Mr. Fitzgerald): I intend to utilise the barracks for the purpose stated, but I am not yet in a position to name the date on which they will be so utilised.
