Tomás O Raghallaigh asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he will state if he will put the pier at Ballinskelligs into a state of repair now that the road leading to it is being kept in a proper state of repair by the Kerry County Council.

Minister for Lands and Fisheries (Mr. F. Lynch): The ownership of the pier at Ballinskelligs is vested in the Kerry County Council, which is responsible for its maintenance, and the pier is, therefore, outside my jurisdiction.
