O Dubhghaill asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether it is his intention to introduce proposals for legislation to amend the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1927, with a view to providing for or granting compensation to the employees of the Electricity Supply Station, Pigeon House Fort, Dublin, who were discharged as a result of the taking over of this station under the Electricity Supply Board; and, if so, if he will state when such proposals for legislation will be introduced.
