Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Irish Grown Tobacco.

Mr. M. O'Reilly asked the Minister for Finance if he will consider granting the manufacturers of tobacco some concessions in duty so as to encourage the sale of 93,000 lbs. of Irish grown tobacco in bond.

Mr. Blythe: I cannot favour granting any concession beyond what is already given.

Mr. O'Reilly: Can the Minister [2028] suggest any steps for disposing of this tobacco?

Mr. Blythe: That is a matter for the owners.
