Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Army Pensions and Gratuities.

Mr. Aiken (for Mr. Kerlin) asked the Minister for Defence to state the total amount paid out in respect of Army pensions and gratuities for the seven years ending 31st December, 1929; and further, to state how this amount is divided amongst the following (a) wounds and disability pensions, (b) wounds and disability gratuities, (c) service pensions, (d) service gratuities to officers, and (e) service gratuities to N.C.O.s and men.

Mr. Blythe (for Minister for Defence): The compilation of the figures in reply to the Deputy's [1649] question is not yet complete. I hope to be in a position to supply the information in a day or two.
