Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tariff on Wrapping Paper.

Peadar S. Ua Dubhghaill asked the Minister for Finance whether the Tariff Commission has yet submitted a report on the application for the imposition of a tariff on packing and wrapping paper, and, if not, whether he can state when it is likely that a report thereon will be made.

Minister for Finance (Mr. Blythe): The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. I understand that the investigation of this application by the Tariff Commission has reached such a stage that the Commissioners will shortly be in a position to consider their report, but it is not yet possible to indicate when the report will be presented.
