Earnán Altún asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether the drafting of amending legislation dealing with the milk supply on the lines of the Inter-Departmental Report of last year has been completed and whether there is any immediate prospect of the introduction of the promised Bill.

General Mulcahy: I thought it would have been possible to introduce this measure before Christmas. It has, however, been delayed unavoidably [1456] by other legislation, but I hope to introduce it early next year.
