Major Cooper asked the Minister for Justice whether any report has been received from the Departmental Committee appointed to consider the censorship of “talkie films,” and, if not, when such report may be expected.

Major Cooper: On the purchasing of equipment for the censoring of “talkie films.”

Mr. Fitzgerald-Kenney: That, of course, is one of the matters on which the Committee will have to report. It is, I believe, the matter that is giving them the most difficulty.
