Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Finance if he will state why Dáil Loan in respect of James Reddy, Springvalley, Enniscorthy; Thomas Brooks, Island Road, Enniscorthy, and Michael Carroll, Irish Street, Enniscorthy, have not been paid.

Mr. Blythe: Authority to issue a Savings Certificate in respect of the repayment of a subscription of £1 made to the Dáil Loan by James Reddy, Springvalley, Enniscorthy, will be given to the Department of Posts and Telegraphs at an early date.

No application from Mr. Thomas Brooks, Island Road, Enniscorthy, for repayment of a subscription to the Loan can be traced among the applications received in my Department on or before 30th April last, the final date for lodging such applications.

[724] There is no record in my Department of a subscription to the Loan having been made by Mr. Michael Carroll, Irish Street, Enniscorthy.
