Pádraig O hOgáin (An Clár) asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if the Land Commission proposes to acquire the lands of Corbally, Quin, Co. Clare, known as the Mahon estate, and if he will indicate at what stage the proceedings for their acquisition are at the moment.

Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Lands and Fisheries (Mr. Roddy): The Land Commission propose to acquire the following lands: Ballyhickey, 60a. 1r. 3p.; Corbally, 332a. 2r. 12p.; and it is hoped that the proceedings for the acquisition of these lands will be completed at an early date.
