Mr. Briscoe Mr. Briscoe Mr. Briscoe asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the amounts paid by the Dublin Electricity Undertaking in income tax for the years 1922/23, 1923/24, 1924/25, 1925/26, 1926/27, and 1927/28. Mr. Blythe Mr. Blythe Mr. Blythe: The Revenue Commissioners are precluded by law from disclosing particulars of income tax assessments or any information from which the liability to tax could be ascertained. Mr. Briscoe Mr. Briscoe Mr. Briscoe: I might mention that in handing in this question I was perfectly aware of the fact that that would be the attitude of the Minister for Finance. I was assured that the question would be handed to the appropriate Minister and that I would get the information. I felt that the Minister for Local Government could give this information, as it was through his Department that it was paid.
