Michael Og Mac Fadden asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he is aware that the slip at Lug a Druan, Glencolumbkille, was destroyed by the heavy seas of last winter, and whether the Minister proposes to erect a slip or landing stage at this point or in the approach to Glen Bay.

Minister for Lands and Fisheries (Mr. Lynch): I am aware that the landing slip constructed 25 years ago at Lug na Druin, Glencolumbkille, has been destroyed. A more sheltered site has been selected, and I am examining the position for building a new slip on that site.
