Mr. Cassidy asked the Minister for External Affairs whether he will state if any negotiations have taken place since the 31st July last in regard to the Lough Foyle fishery dispute, and, if so, whether he will give full particulars in regard to the result of such negotiations.

Mr. Blythe (for the Minister for External Affairs): The position in regard to the territorial aspect of the Lough Foyle fisheries dispute has formed the subject of correspondence between the Governments concerned. No conclusions have so far been reached in the matter, which is still, under consideration.

Mr. Cassidy: Will the Minister be prepared to lay the correspondence on the Table of the House for the inspection of Deputies?
