Dáil Éireann - Volume 31 - 10 July, 1929

Question on Adjournment.

An Ceann Comhairle: What question is it Deputy Davin wishes to raise on the adjournment?

Mr. Davin: I intend to raise the question of the unsatisfactory reply [639] given by the Parliamentary Secretary, which the Judicial Commissioners' decision may explain.

An Ceann Comhairle: The Deputy cannot raise the question of a decision given in court by the Judicial Commissioners. There are questions he may raise, but he must not raise that question.

Mr. Davin: I listened attentively to the reply of the Parliamentary Secretary, and he said that the owner's objection was allowed by the Commissioners. I have information on this file here to show that the objection was disallowed.

An Ceann Comhairle: The Deputy is quite within his rights in raising the question of the action of the Commissioners. I only want him to understand the limits of the debate.

Mr. Roddy: I stated that there were two stages in these proceedings.

Mr. Davin: Much more detailed information will have to be given before I am satisfied.

Mr. G. Boland: Molesworth Street comes in.
