Mr. R. Walsh asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state when the Land Commission intend dealing with the acute congestion on the Sligo estates, Purranes, Hollymount district, Co. Mayo.

Mr. Roddy: Owing to the pressure of work in connection with Co. Mayo estates the Land Commission have been unable, up to the present, to carry out the sale of the Hollymount section of this estate to the tenants, but the lands on hands, so far as practicable, have been temporarily let to the small holders on monthly grazing lettings pending striping and re-arrangement.
