Mr. Atkin (for Mr. F.H. Crowley) asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state when it is the intention of his Department to arrange for the construction of a drain through the 8 acres of turbary reserved by the receiver from the 25 acres held by Garrett Fleming on the Captain Fagan estate, Dromulton, Scartaglin.

Mr. Lynch: This estate was sold direct by the landlord to the tenants under the Irish Land Act, 1903, and the Land Commission do not propose to construct the drain referred to.
