[1136] Tadhg O Murchadha asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he is aware that the Western Committee Cork County Board of Public Health have agreed to an extension of the overcrowded burial ground at Allihies Mines, Castletown-Bere, which proposal has been rejected by the County Board of Health, and whether he will have the matter referred to a Medical Inspector of his Department for investigation.

Minister for Local Government and Public Health (General Mulcahy): The Cork Board of Health Minutes of the 13th May, 1929, contain the following entry:—“Extension of Allihies Burial Ground rejected on engineer's report as unsuitable.” The matter is one to be settled by local arrangement.
