Murphy asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether, in view of the ever-increasing number of fatal accidents caused by motor vehicles, it is the intention of the Government to introduce proposals for legislation to give effect to the recommendations contained in the Report of the InterDepartmental Committee on the Control and Regulation of Road Traffic, and, if so, when.
