Tomás O Conaill asked the Minister for Education whether he will state what steps have been taken towards providing a new school at Ballymana, Craughwell, Co. Galway, since November 1st, 1928.

Minister for Education (Professor O'Sullivan): A plan for the enlargement of the school and a report with regard to the extension of the site and the general improvement of the school building have been obtained from the Commissioners of Public Works.

My Department is at present in correspondence with the manager on the issues involved.
