Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rush Water and Sewerage System.

Seán O Bradaigh asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if his attention has been drawn to a report of a Medical Inspector of his Department stating that there was danger of an epidemic in Rush by reason of the poor water supply and the absence of a proper sewerage system; and, if so, whether he will state what [408] steps, if any, he is taking to prevent the threatened epidemic.

General Mulcahy: The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The Balrothery Rural District Council are the sanitary authority with responsibility, for making the necessary provision. The matter has received and will continue to receive attention.
