Eamon Cooney Eamon Cooney Eamon Cooney asked the Minister for Defence whether he will state the amount of the gratuity paid to Colonel Thomas O'Higgins, ex-O.C., Army Medical Corps, on his retirement from the Army, and the amount of the annual pension he is in receipt of, also whether Colonel O'Higgins is an officer in the Reserve of Officers, and, if so, the amount of salary, if any, he will receive as such. Mr. Fitzgerald Mr. Fitzgerald Mr. Fitzgerald: The amount of the gratuity payable to Colonel Thomas O'Higgins on his resignation from the forces was £3,034 4s. 2d.
