[17] Tomás Mac Giolla Phóil asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether the Irish Land Commission propose acquiring the lands owned by the representatives of the late Bridget Octigan, on the B.J. Daly estate, Stripe, Drymills, Co. Mayo, for the purpose of bringing the holding of Peter Gallagher up to the economic standard.

Mr. Roddy: The Land Commission has under consideration what steps can now be taken with regard to the holding of the representatives of the late James Aughtigan, in the townland of Stripe, on the estate of B.J. Daly, C.D.B. 211, Galway, with a view to its acquisition.
