Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Body Warrants.

Mr. Little asked the Minister for Justice for a return of the number [1920] of Body Warrants (unlimited in time) issued in respect (1) of customs and excise offences, and (2) of offences against law of income tax.

Mr. Blythe: The number of persons committed under indefinite sentences for customs and excise offences during the years 1927 and 1928 was 6 and 16 respectively. The number of persons committed under indefinite sentences for income tax offences during these two years was 2 in 1927 and 8 in 1928.
