Mr. Mathews Mr. Mathews Mr. Mathews asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he has received from the County Councils' General Council a recommendation that the term of office of county councils should be extended to four years; and, if so, whether he purposes to introduce proposals for legislation to give effect to this recommendation.
