Boland (for Mr. Fogarty): asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is aware that grave dissatisfaction is caused by co-operative creameries making exorbitant levies on those suppliers who were compelled to change over as a result of the closing of redundant creameries; [1537] and whether these suppliers have any redress by way of appeal to his Department? Minister for Defence (Mr. Fitzgerald) (for Minister for Agriculture) Desmond FitzGerald Minister for Defence (Mr. Fitzgerald) (for Minister for Agriculture): Only one instance of excessive share issue in the case of transferred suppliers has come under the Department's notice, and in that instance the society concerned has undertaken to reduce the rate of issue during the present milk season, and to adjust with the suppliers the excess payments made last year. If any cases of similar excessive share issues are brought to my notice, I shall have enquiry made into the circumstances. Dáil Éireann 29 Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers.
