Mr. Allen (for Dr. O'Dowd) Mr. Allen (for Dr. O'Dowd) Mr. Allen (for Dr. O'Dowd) asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether it is the intention of the Land Commission to acquire the lands of Carrowbeg and Lurghaboy (Kingston Estate), Keadue, Co. Roscommon, and, if so, when these lands will be subdivided. Mr. Roddy Mr. Roddy Mr. Roddy: The question of acquiring the lands of Carrowbeg and Lurghaboy, which form portion of the estate of the Earl of Kingston, is under consideration. In the present stage of the proceedings it is not possible to indicate whether, and if so, when, the lands would be available for distribution. Mr. Allen Mr. Allen Mr. Allen: Is the Parliamentary Secretary aware that part of these lands has already been acquired by adjacent landowners? Mr. Roddy Mr. Roddy Mr. Roddy: No. Mr. Allen Mr. Allen Mr. Allen: Will he see that the matter is expedited?
