[1152] Mr. Derrig (for Mr. Kilroy) asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he will state why sanction has been withheld to the appointment made by the Ballinakill Board of Conservators, No. 2 District, of John Coyne as supervisor.

Minister for Lands and Fisheries (Mr. Lynch): The appointment of John Coyne as a supervisor by the Ballinakill Board of Conservators, was not approved because of his lack of experience, and because he lived too far from the waters where his supervision was most needed.
