Seán F. Lemass asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the amount received into the Exchequer during the financial year ended 31st March, 1929, in respect of the 50,000 shares of the Industrial Trust Company of Ireland, held by him.

Mr. Blythe: No sum was paid into the Exchequer during the financial year ended 31st March, 1929, in respect of the 50,000 shares of the Industrial Trust Company of Ireland held by me, owing to the fact that the company altered the date for closing its accounts from 31st December, 1928, to 31st March, 1929. No dividend, accordingly, fell due for payment in the financial year ended 31st March, 1929, but the dividend payable in the current financial year will cover a period of fifteen months.
