Peadar S. O Dubhghaill asked the Minister for Finance whether the Tariff Commission have yet considered the application for a tariff on motor, bus, car and lorry bodies, etc.; and, if so, if he can state when their report will be issued.

Mr. Blythe: The Tariff Commissioners have heard a considerable amount of evidence in connection with this application, but it is not possible yet to say when their report is likely to be issued. I understand that the Commissioners propose to visit factories in the near future and later on to hold a final public sitting to enable the applicants to reply to the evidence already given in opposition to the application.
