Answer is as follows:—Particulars of the expenditure of county councils in 1913-14 out of local funds on the maintenance and construction of roads will be found on page 205 of the First Report of the Department of Local Government and Public Health. The expenditure by county councils from local sources in 1927-28 on the maintenance and construction of roads is as follows:—
