Partholán O Conchubhair asked the Minister for Finance whether he can [367] now state if consideration of the application for the imposition of a tariff on packing and wrapping paper has been resumed by the Tariff Commission; and, if so, whether he can state when it is likely that a report will be submitted.

Mr. Fitzgerald: Public and private sittings of the Tariff Commission to hear further evidence in connection with this application have been fixed for the 18th, 19th and 23rd instant. It is not yet possible to indicate when the Commission's report on this application is likely to be submitted.
