Dáil Éireann - Volume 29 - 10 April, 1929

Public Business. - Superannuation and Pensions Bill.

The President: It is proposed to take the business as arranged on the Order Paper.

Mr. Ruttledge: With regard to the Superannuation and Pensions Bill, it was postponed on the last day as an amendment in my name did not appear to be in order. I would like a ruling from the Chair as to whether an amendment in the terms in which it appeared originally on the Order Paper would be in order on the Report Stage?

An Ceann Comhairle: On the Committee Stage an amendment was moved about which a point of order was made. The point was a new one and the Chair reserved decision. I [16] now think that the amendment in the form in which it was put down originally is in order. The Deputy desires time to put that amendment on the Order Paper again.

The President: Very good.

Report Stage postponed to Friday.
