Boland (for Mr. T. Crowley) asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state whether the lands of Carrass, Croom, Co. Limerick (Captain John O'Grady's estate), have been acquired by the Land Commission for distribution amongst uneconomic holders and landless people in the district; and, if so, how soon he expects the distribution to take place. O'Grady under Section 11 of the Land Act, 1927, in respect of the lands of Caherass, County Limerick, containing 256a. 0r. 30p. has been lodged in the Land Commission and was heard in Court by the Commissioners on the 31st January, 1929. The decision of the Court was reserved pending a decision on a question of law to be submitted to the Judicial Commissioner as regards sub-tenancies on lands coming under Section 11 of the Act of 1927.
