Mr. S. Jordan asked the Minister for Education if he will state the cause of the delay in issuing salary to the principal and assistant teachers in Lackagh N.S. (Roll No. 12954), and why salary ordinarily payable in the first week of February was not paid until the end of the month.

Mr. Blythe: Owing to an error, it is regretted that salary orders for the teachers of this school for the month of January were not included in the earlier issue of payments and that in consequence the delay referred to in the question occurred.
