Mr. T. Mullins asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that none of the subscribers to the Dáil Eireann Internal Loan of 1919-20, in the Cahermore-Cloghane Cross district of West Cork, have yet received repayment, and if he will state when it is proposed to issue Savings Certificates to the people concerned.

[840] Mr. Blythe: Savings Certificates have already been issued to a number of persons in the Cahermore-Cloghane Cross district in respect of their subscriptions to the Dáil Eireann (Internal) Loan. Any applications of subscribers from this district which have not yet been dealt with and which contain particulars corresponding in all respects with the records in my Department will be disposed of shortly.

Mr. Kennedy: Arising out of that question, may we shortly expect a statement from the Minister as to the progress made in regard to the distribution of Savings Certificates to people concerned in the Dáil Loan?
