Deputy P.S. Doyle reported from the Committee of Selection that, to fill the vacancies existing in the membership of the Joint Committee on the Betting Act and the Joint Restaurant Committee, due to the election of Mr. A. Byrne, who was a member of the Dáil for the Borough Constituency of Dublin North to be a member of Seanad Eireann, the Committee had made the following appointments—Deputy J.X. Murphy to be a member of the Joint Committee on the Betting Act, 1926,

And Deputy Sir James Craig to be a member of the Joint Restaurant Committee.

Ordered: That the Report do lie on the Table.
