Nicholas, Mrs. Staunton, and Mr. Thos. P. Staunton, of Bohola, Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo, made a claim for compensation for the seizing of their furniture by armed men during the Civil War; whether Judge Doyle made a report of £37 10s. 0d. and £4 6s. 3d. costs on the claim on the 13th February, 1924; whether it had been decided to make no payment on the foot of this report because the Minister was not satisfied that the claim came within the meaning of the Act, and whether the Minister will state the grounds on which this decision was based.
