Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limitation of Water in Bread Making.

Dr. Hennessy asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he is aware of the large percentage of water used in the making of bakers' bread; and, if so, whether it is intended to introduce proposals for legislation to limit the percentage of water used in the making of such bread.

[11] In case of excess moisture, if established by evidence, a remedy would seem to be available by proceedings in respect of an offence under Section 6 of the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1875.
