Dr. TUBRIDY Dr. TUBRIDY 971 [971] Dr. TUBRIDY asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will consider giving a special grant to improve the condition of the road between Costello and Lettermullen, via Carraroe, which is now almost impassable, and in this manner help to relieve the unemployment in that portion of the Gaeltacht during this winter. Dr. TUBRIDY Dr. TUBRIDY Dr. TUBRIDY: In view of the fact that Galway County was deprived of £50,000 in the Order with respect to the 1926-27 Road Fund of £2,000,000, and in view also of the unemployment, and that there was no money available for the Gaeltacht, will the Minister reconsider his decision in this matter?
