WRITTEN ANSWERS. - HARBOUR IMPROVEMENT WORKS IN DONEGAL.

Mr. LAW asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he has received a petition from a number of fishermen and others asking that certain improvement works may be executed at Portnablagh, Co. Donegal; and whether, having regard to the fact that this is now the only harbour on the western side of Sheephaven capable of accommodating fishing boats and coasting vessels, he will give favourable consideration to this request.

Mr. RODDY: I have received through the Deputy the petition referred to in his question, and have [839] caused it to be transmitted to the Donegal County Council, the authority responsible for the maintenance of the harbour at Portnablagh.
