CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - PURCHASE OF VACANT HOLDINGS AT WESTPORT.

Mr. KILROY asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will consider the advisability of purchasing on behalf of the tenants of Carnaclay, Westport, a few vacant holdings at present available in the locality.

Mr. RODDY: The Land Commission are not aware of any vacant holdings available for purchase by them in the locality of Carnaclay, Westport. If particulars of the holdings referred to are furnished, the Commissioners will have inquiries made.

Mr. KILROY: Very good. I am informed that there are three small holdings that the tenants are anxious to purchase. I will get particulars.
