CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - PENSION TO SOLDIER'S DEPENDENT.

SEOSAMH O CINNEIDE asked the Minister for Defence if he will state [828] why a pension or allowance has not been made to Mrs. Bridget Wilson, of Water Street, Castlepollard, in respect of her husband, the late Sergeant-Major J. Wilson, who died whilst serving in the Free State Army.

MINISTER for DEFENCE (Mr. Fitzgerald): No award was made to Mrs. Wilson, as her husband's death was not due to disease attributable to service within the statutory period.
