Mr. ALLEN (for Mr. Carney) asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the number of (a) male emigrants, and (b) female emigrants, who left Co. Donegal during the years 1922 to 1927, inclusive.

PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTER for INDUSTRY and COMMERCE (Mr. Dolan): The numbers of emigrants from Donegal in the years 1922 to 1926 are not available. The number of emigrants from Donegal to non-European countries during 1927 was 1,721, of which 854 were males and 867 females.
