Mr. COONEY Mr. COONEY Mr. COONEY asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether the Government are prepared to enter into negotiations with the former employees of the Clondalkin Paper Mills with a view to re-opening same under the direct management of the workers, subject to Governmental supervision. Mr. McGILLIGAN Mr. McGILLIGAN Mr. McGILLIGAN: The only powers given to me by the Dáil in the matter of assisting in the opening of an industrial enterprise are those contained in the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Acts.
