Mr. WALSH asked the Minister for Finance whether he will state the cause of the delay in the payment to John Gavin, Shrule, Co. Mayo, of the award made to him by the Compensation (Ireland) Commission, and whether immediate steps will be taken to pay this man.

MINISTER for FINANCE (Mr. Blythe): The only award which the Compensation (Ireland) Commission appears to have made in favour of this applicant is one for £80. This award was paid, with interest and costs, on the 3rd June, 1925.
